Template License
What you can and cannot do with Strockise templates. Last updated: October 31, 2026.
Overview
Every Webflow, Framer and Astro template from Strockise comes with a clear license. This page explains how you may use our templates, what is not allowed and how free templates are licensed. By buying, downloading or using a Strockise template, you accept these terms.
Premium template license
A premium license gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the template you purchased. With a valid license, you may:
- Use the template for personal and commercial projects.
- Change and extend its design, layout, styles and code.
- Build a website for yourself or a client, and charge your client for that work.
- Remove the Strockise credit and apply your own branding.
What is not allowed
- Reselling, redistributing or sub-licensing a template, whether original or modified.
- Listing a template or any part of it as a stock item, theme or UI kit on a marketplace or download site.
- Sharing source files or making them publicly available.
- Presenting the original design as your own work, beyond the finished website you build with it.
One license, one website
Each license covers one website or end product, for yourself or for one client. To use a template on another website, please buy a separate license for each additional site, or choose a bundle where available.
Images and demo content
Photos, logos, illustrations, videos and sample text in our previews are for demonstration only and are not covered by the template license. Replace them with content you own or have the right to use before you launch. Fonts and icons are provided under their own open-source licenses, which you should follow.
Ownership
A license gives you the right to use a template; it does not transfer ownership. Strockise keeps all copyright and intellectual property rights in the original design and source files. The content you add and the website you create remain yours.
Free template license (MIT)
Templates we release for free are covered by the MIT License below, unless the template page or its marketplace listing states a different license.
